Les Eyzies de Tayac Sireuil : World capital of prehistory

Les Eyzies de Tayac Sireuil has, to date, the largest concentration of registered and classified sites in France.
Some of these riches have been part of the UNESCO inventory since 1979.
But the interest of the town is not limited to prehistory.
Indeed, it also has very important medieval heritage wealth.
CRO-MAGNON, FONT OF GAUME, COMBARELLES, THE MOUTHE, etc ... have made the fame of this village of less than 1000 inhabitants which each year hosts popuring nearly a million visitors.
That said, Les Eyzies also has medieval evidence such as the fortified church of TAYAC of the 12th century, many traces of troglodyte occupation and old forges of cannonballs for the Royal Navy.
