Cavern of Combarelles

4 km from The Moulin de la Beune
The cavern of Combarelles, located at the bottom of a valley at the exit of Eyzies, on the road to Sarlat, is a major sanctuary of Magdalenian culture classified World Heritage by Unesco since 1979.
Horses, bison, aurochs, lions, reindeer ...
More than 800 engravings of the Quaternary fauna, accompanied by drawings, decorate the cave of Combarelles.
It also houses a large number of schematic human representations, sometimes difficult to interpret.
For conservatory reasons, the daily number of visitors admitted is very limited and variable.
It is not possible to book your visit (except for visits adapted to the disabled public).
Tickets on sale at the reception of the cavern of Font-de-Gaume the same day, within the limits of available places.
It is strongly recommended to present yourself before the opening of the ticket office during school holidays
